But the Lord Jesus was a constant presence in her life. He gave her 2 beautiful daughters. Constant struggles did not make her waver in her faith in Jesus. He empowered her to lead her husband into a spirit filled life and raise her children in faith. In 1985, a goiter tumor in her thyroid glands threatened her life. Doctors suspected cancer and predicted that she would lose her voice in the operation. In that painful moment, the Lord appeared to her in a vision and commanded her to sing for him. She obeyed and made a promise to him. The tumor was removed and miraculously turned out to be non-cancerous. Her voice remained intact. Her singing career began from that day. Wherever she goes, she sings and honors her promise to the Lord. Souls are comforted, hearts are convicted and lives are built.
